Shares in Taiwan closed higher, above the 8,400-point mark Thursday. Investors took cues to buy from gains posted on Wall Street overnight amid fears of a possible interest rate hike by the U.S. Federal Reserve.
Taiwan shares closed up 112.21 points, or 1.34%, at 8,445.50.
