The Taiwan Academy Spotlight Project is underway in the Honduran capital of Tegucigalpa. An unveiling ceremony was held Monday local time at a Honduran design and architecture college.
Counselor Lou Li Wen from the Taiwanese Embassy in Honduras hosted the event and showcased the academy’s important projects for the year. These include Chinese lessons, a female artist seminar, new media and art workshops, and a Taiwan Cultural Week.
Taiwan Academies are non-profit public institutes that aim to promote the Mandarin Chinese language, traditional Chinese characters, and research on Taiwan-related topics.
