Madonna added another concert in Taipei after tickets to her first concert sold out in just 15 minutes. The pop legend will come to Taiwan to perform in February for the first time.
Her first concert will be on Feb. 4 and her second on Feb.6 at Taipei Arena. The roughly 10,000 tickets to her first concert on Feb. 4 sold out in a flash on September 26.
The two Taipei concerts next year will be a part of her 10th global concert tour called the Rebel Heart Tour. The tour follows the March release of her album Rebel Heart. The tour began in September in Canada and goes through Europe and Asia. It will end on March 27 next year with a concert in Brisbane, Australia.
Tickets to Madonna’s second concert will go on sale at 11 a.m. on Oct. 10 at bit.ly/REBELTW or at 7-Eleven ibon kiosks. Members of her fan club will have the opportunity to buy them starting Oct. 1.
Ticket prices range from NT$800 to NT$16,800. There are also VIP packages sold at NT$30,000 for seated fans and NT$27,000 for standing groups.
