Taiwan’s China Airlines is ranked 2nd among a global list of top 10 passenger choice airlines for 2015. That’s according to a leading website for airline product news and reviews, Design Air. It was the first time the website hosted the award where passengers voted on their favorite airlines.
China Airlines’ new 777-300ER airplanes have a new cabin design using Asian aesthetics and modern technology. Design Air praised the airline for its new uniforms, passenger seats, in-flight entertainment, food, aircraft, and lounges.
This is the second time that Design Air has given China Airlines an award this year. In January, the airline’s lounge at the Taoyuan International Airport was ranked 5th in its 2015 top 10 airport lounges in the world.
Cathay Pacific topped this year’s passenger choice airlines while China Airlines was followed by another Taiwan carrier EVA Air. Singapore Airlines and Hawaiian Air finished off the top 5.
