Taiwanese Buddhist master to speak at world religions conference

Taiwanese Zen Buddhist Master Hsin-Tao is set to speak at the sixth Parliament of the World’s Religions in Salt Lake City. The parliament will take place from October 15-19.

Master Hsin-Tao is the founder of the Museum of World Religions in New Taipei City. He is the only Taiwanese attendee who will be saying prayers during the parliament’s opening ceremony. Master Hsin-Tao will be leading activities introducing Zen Buddhism to attendees as well as a Zen-themed performances.

The Parliament of the World’s Religions is held under the aegis of the Council for Parliament of the World’s Religions, an international organization that has been promoting interfaith dialogue for more than a century. This year’s event is expected to draw more than ten-thousand attendees representing eighty countries and fifty different faiths.
