Taiwanese inventors have wowed the world yet again with their creations, this time in Warsaw, Poland.
The team from Taiwan picked up 35 gold medals at the 2015 International Warsaw Invention Show. Of the 25 participating countries, Taiwan came in second place, behind only the host country.
The Taipei-based Chinese Innovation and Invention Society said Thursday that Taiwanese inventors also picked up 23 silvers, 11 bronzes and eight special prizes.
Of particular note was an invention created by a team from Cheng Shiu University in the southern city of Kaohsiung. That team designed a special slip-on life vest for boats, which can make them more buoyant.
