Shares in Taiwan ended higher Friday, but the gains were partly eroded by strong technical resistance. The bourse closed shy of 8,700 points amid worries over a slowdown of the domestic economy.
Shares in Taiwan closed up 65.35 points, or 0.75 percent, at 8,673.81.
