Taiwan shares close up 0.82%

Taiwan shares closed 0.82% higher. The TAIEX rose 71.55 points at 8,745.36. Dealers said the bullish sentiment was driven by the rises in electronic, Apple concept and small and medium-sized enterprise shares.
