More than 3,000 people participated in the 2015 Taiwan Cycling Festival at the scenic Sun Moon Lake in central Taiwan on Sunday.
The festival offered a variety of cycling routes, including the 50-kilometer Tanan Tribal Village Challenge, the 30-km Round the Lake Challenge, and the 6-km Classic Ride.
Other activities included a children's push bike competition, a performance by the Ten Drum Art Percussion Group, a unicycle clown show and aerobic dance.
One of the main highlights of the festival was the lake itself, which a CNN Travel article once listed as one of the world’s top ten breathtaking cycling routes.
