Shares in Taiwan made a significant comeback Thursday as investors scrambled to buy into large-cap stocks across the board, taking advantage of relatively low valuations caused by losses seen in recent sessions.
Taiwan shares closed up 98.77 points, or 1.18 percent, at 8,484.90.
