Taiwan shares fell Monday amid fears of an interest rate hike in the US and a decision by global index provider MSCI Inc. to cut Taiwan’s weighting in three of its indexes.
The TAIEX closed down 77.79 points, or 0.93 percent on Monday, at 8,320.61.
