The Institute for Information Industry (III) has introduced Taiwan’s first business intelligence (BI) tablet so that tourists will be able to do “smart travelling” in Taiwan.
The III said on Monday that the 4G-enabled tablet is equipped with apps covering transportation, travelling, hotels and food, offering tourists multi-functional services.
The III said the tablet is like a butler that helps tourists to find a place to eat or call a taxi.
The III also said that they are working with six hotels which will offer the tablet to tourists so that they can appreciate Taiwan’s soft power.
