Shares in Taiwan took a pause Friday, trending lower to end below the 8,300-point mark, after a strong showing a session earlier as investors took cues from a plunge on Wall Street overnight.
Taiwan shares closed down 62.35 points, or 0.75 percent, at 8,257.32.
