Taiwan and Czech Republic signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on Monday for a reciprocal work holiday program. The program is expected to launch in April 2016, according to Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The work holiday program allows young people between the age of 18 and 26 to travel to each other’s country and work. The program aims to help young people gain more international awareness and promote cultural exchanges.

The working holiday program will be launched after the two countries complete follow-up procedures, and further details of the program will be announced later.

Czech Republic is 14th in the world and the ninth in Europe to sign the MOU with Taiwan. Other countries include Germany, England, Ireland, Belgium, and Austria.
