Taiwan’s representative office in France held 2016’s first flag raising ceremony in Paris. The ceremony took place Friday morning, local time.
Taiwan’s representative to France, Zhang Ming-zhong, and his wife, joined over 160 Taiwanese people living in France and their French friends to show support for Taiwan.
Zhang began the ceremony by leading the participants in singing the national anthem. The anthem was followed by the raising of Taiwan's flag.
Zhang expressed his gratitude to those who have helped with Taiwan-related events held in France over the past year.
