Shares in Taiwan extended their losses on Tuesday amid lingering concerns over further volatility in global financial markets because of worries over China's economy and a weaker Chinese yuan.
Taiwan shares close down 39.15 points, or 0.48 percent, at 8,075.11 on Tuesday.
