Taiwan’s gas and diesel prices are set to fall to a record low. The new prices will go into effect at midnight on Sunday, moving into Monday morning.
The state-run oil company, CPC Corporation, Taiwan, has announced that prices will decrease by NT$0.4 per liter for both gas and diesel (about US$0.01).
CPC says the decrease in Taiwan’s floating gas and diesel prices was triggered by a decrease in international oil prices.
The new prices per liter will be: for super diesel, NT$17; for 92 octane unleaded, NT$19.5; for 95 octane unleaded, NT$21; and for 98 octane unleaded, NT$23 per liter.
