Shares in Taiwan took a beating Thursday as investors took cues from a plunge on Wall Street overnight amid concerns over the weakness of the international oil market.
The weighted index on the Taiwan Stock Exchange closed down 81.73 points, or 1.04 percent, at 7,742.88.
