Taiwan and Poland have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on medicine and medical equipment. That was the word from the foreign ministry on Friday. The MOU aims to further bilateral cooperation in the field of medicine.

It mandates that Taiwan’s Food and Drug Administration and its Polish counterpart exchange information on authorization, experimentation and monitoring of medicines and medical equipment.

According to the foreign ministry, Taiwan and Poland have also signed agreements on youth cultural exchanges and aviation in the past two years. Meanwhile, 41 Taiwanese universities and 38 Polish universities have signed 87 different agreements. Taiwan’s Taipei, Tainan, and Taoyuan have also become the sister cities with Warsaw, Elblag, and Radon.
