Shares in Taiwan staged a rebound Friday, rising more than 1 percent as buying was sparked by the gains on the global equity markets after international crude oil prices showed signs of recovering.
Taiwan shares closed up 92.17 points, or 1.20 percent, at 7,756.18 on Friday.
