Taiwan is participating in the 2016 Dublin Holiday World Show. The show is taking place in the Irish capital of Dublin through Sunday. It is the sixth time Taiwan's representative office in Ireland has participated in the show.
The Taiwan section will include information about tourism in Taiwan and Taiwanese food. There will also be demonstrations of calligraphy and traditional diabolo performances.
The representative office invited Irish officials to the opening of the Taiwan booth. The officials praised the office’s efforts to boost Taiwan-Ireland exchanges.
Over 50 countries and 1000 exhibitors, including travel organizations and embassies, are participating in the exhibition, which is now in its 27th year. The show attracts around 50,000 visitors every year. Other booths showcasing the Asia-Pacific region include displays from China, Thailand, Malaysia, India, and Sri Lanka.
