Shares in Taiwan closed above the 7,900 point mark Thursday as investors shrugged off heavy losses seen on Wall Street overnight to pick up stocks across the board.
Taiwan shares closed up 55.27 points, or 0.7 percent, at 7,905.10 on Thursday.
