Madonna has arrived in Taipei on the first stop of the Asian leg of her Rebel Heart Tour, the tenth worldwide concert tour in her career.
The pop star arrived in Taiwan in a private jet on Monday evening before heading to the presidential suite at a five star hotel. Organizers are keeping a tight lid on the details of the hotel where she’s staying.
A total of four chartered cargo flights are needed to transport all of the equipment for the concert. The first flight arrived in Taipei on Sunday, and it took 30 baggage handling carts 2.5 hours to unload the entire aircraft.
Madonna is set to perform two shows at the Taipei Arena, one on Thursday, and the other on Saturday. She will move on next to Bangkok and five other Asian cities before performances in Australia and New Zealand.
