More victims have been found in the rubble of a collapsed building in Tainan. The discovery of their remains brings the total death toll from last week's magnitude 6.4 earthquake to 115.
Tainan City Government statistics show that 113 of the 115 confirmed victims died during the collapse of the Weiguan Jinlong apartment complex in the city's Yongkang District.
The city government said that as of 1:30 p.m., two people are believed to remain trapped in the rubble of the collapsed residential complex.
The Central Disasters Response Center says that another 550 people were injured in the earthquake. 44 quake survivors remain hospitalized.
