Dust wave coming to Taiwan: EPA
Dust wave coming

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) says that a wave of dust from Mainland China will arrive over Taiwan on Saturday afternoon. The EPA said the dust will increase the density of PM10 particles around Taiwan and bring air pollution to the south.

The EPA considers air with a daily density of over 150 mg of PM10 particles per cubic meter to be poor.

The EPA says the dust will come from both China and Mongolia. It said this wave of dust is not a sandstorm and should not have a serious impact on Taiwan.

It is estimated the dust will arrive over Taiwan on Saturday evening. The EPA urges people who are sensitive to poor air quality to exercise caution.
