President-elect Tsai Ing-wen said the upcoming administration will support the biotechnology industry’s development. She made the remarks Tuesday as she visited some biotechnology companies.
Tsai said researchers and developers of biotech products have to go through many difficulties. But as long as the government provides strong support, the teams stay persistent, and investors are confident, then biotech businesses can conquer tough challenges.
She is confident the upcoming administration will be a strong backup for the biotech industry. Tsai said it is a must for Taiwan to develop biotechnology. She will bring Taiwan’s biotechnology to a higher level.
