Shares in Taiwan moved moderately higher Friday as sentiment turned cautious ahead of the release of non-farm payroll data in the United States later in the day.
Taiwan shares closed up 31.76 points, or 0.37 percent, at 8,643.55 Friday on turnover of NT$93.49 billion (US$2.84 billion).
