Award-winning designer Angus Chiang from Taiwan displayed his works at Vancouver Fashion Week over the weekend. Chiang won a best fashion designer award three years ago in London.
Over the weekend, he showcased his menswear design for the fall/winter season in Vancouver.
The event was held at the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Vancouver. Designers from around the world presented their collections, representing the newest and most innovative work in fashion. Chiang was the only sponsored designer from Taiwan.
He graduated from Shih Chien University in Taiwan in 2013 and has been inspired from elements in Taiwanese culture in his designs. Chiang served the obligatory military service last year. This year, he’s back to the global fashion scene. At this year’s Vancouver Fashion Week, he joined the nearly 90 brands to present his latest styles in menswear.
