Premier Jiang Yi-huah says relations with Swaziland are strong. Jiang was speaking Tuesday during his meeting with visiting Swaziland Prime Minister Barnabas Sibusiso Dlamini and his wife.
Jiang said the prime minister’s visit is the best example of the friendly ties between the two sides.
The two sides have had close cooperation in agriculture, medical care and education over the past few decades. Taiwan has been trying to help the southern African country build its infrastructure. With Taiwan’s assistance, Swaziland’s King Mswati III International Airport opened to the public in March. The first phase of the construction of the Royal Bio-technology Park was also completed in April.
Jiang said Taiwan is more than willing to share its experience in other major projects, such as the remodeling of an international airport and the free economic pilot zone.
