Taipei is a great place to be on Children’s Day. That’s because there are ten different attractions that are offering free entry on Monday for children 12 and under.
All you have to do is bring some form of identification – like an ID card or health insurance card – and you can get in free at a number of places. Those places include the Taipei Zoo, the Taipei Astronomical Museum, and the Taipei Water Park.
There’s good news for parents, too: The Taipei Children’s Amusement Park will also allow one 8adult to enter free with each child. However there are still fares for individual rides within the park.
The Maokong Gondola will also be handing out free passes to children under 12, which allow for an unlimited number of free rides on Monday.
If you are interested in getting some exercise, children under 12 will be offered free entry to the swimming pools at the Taipei City sports centers in 12 different districts.
