Shares in Taiwan staged a technical rebound and finished higher on Friday after three consecutive losing sessions as bargain hunters stepped in to push the benchmark index above 8,500 points.
Taiwan shares closed up 51.25 points, or 0.60 percent, at 8,541.50 on Friday.
