Taiwanese American NBA player Jeremy Lin helped the Charlotte Hornets win the Boston Celtics 114-100 on Monday.
After the game, Hornets Coach Steve Clifford said Lin was excellent on both defense and offense. Lin scored a game-high 25 points, including 19 in the second quarter. Boston actually led by six points early in the second quarter before Lin helped turn the tide.
Celtics Coach Brad Stevens said Lin gave the Hornets a major injection in the second quarter. Hornets Center Al Jefferson also said Lin helped the team get into the game and made a lot of key shots, and played a key role in defense.
Jeremy Lin finished with a game-high 25 points, including 19 in the decisive second quarter. He also shot a perfect 10-of-10 from the free-throw line. Lin became the first player in the NBA to record 25+ points and 5+ steals as a reserve this season.
