A new survey has found that long working hours in Taiwan mean that many young workers do not have enough time to relax or spend time with their families.
Some 61.2 percent of workers in an online survey by Yes123 Job Bank said they did not have enough time to rest. Another 37.1 percent said they cannot have regular meals during work days.
Nearly 30% of those surveyed said they do not have to time to exercise, while more than half – 56.5% said they cannot achieve a balance between career and family.
The Yes123 Job Bank survey was conducted between April 6 and April 25. The survey of 1,112 people who are currently employed and under 40 years of age had a margin of error of plus or minus 2.94 percent.
