New York’s Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) is set to host an exhibition of the works of Taiwanese cinematographer Mark Lee Ping-bing.
Lee is a renowned cinematographer and has worked with many world-class directors. His most recent film, Crosscurrent, has just won a Silver Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival for Outstanding Artistic Contribution in Cinematography.
MOMA’s retrospective on Lee’s work is the museum’s first such exhibition for an Asian cinematographer. Lee is scheduled to attend the opening on June 16th. He will then take part in a panel discussion on June 17th and 18th and share his experiences with fellow filmmakers.
