Shares in Taiwan moved higher Friday on a technical rebound from a slump seen a session earlier as investors took cues from the gains on Wall Street overnight to pick up bargains.
Taiwan shares closed up 73.94 points, or 0.87 percent, at 8,568.08 on Friday.
