Shares in Taiwan closed up on Tuesday as the immediate shock of the United Kingdom's decision to leave the European Union and its impact on Asian markets appeared to be fading.
The weighted index on the Taiwan Stock Exchange closed up 46.64 points, or 0.55 percent, at the day's high of 8,505.51.
