Shares in Taiwan closed up on Thursday as local investors were encouraged by a rally on Wall Street overnight after the turmoil that followed the Brexit vote.
Taiwan shares closed 0.93% higher. The TAIEX rose 80.02 points at 8,666.58 Thursday.
