The Central Weather Bureau has announced that it could issue a land warning for Typhoon Nepartak at 8:30pm on Wednesday, Taiwan Time.
As of 2:30pm on Wednesday, the typhoon’s center was 870km southeast of Hualien on Taiwan’s east coast. It is approaching Taiwan at 22km an hour. The Central Weather Bureau reports that sustained winds near the center of the storm are at 55 meters per second with gusts reaching up to 68 meters per second.
