Shares in Taiwan extended their momentum from a session earlier Tuesday, as buying in the financial sector continued to help the broader market recoup earlier losses.
Taiwan shares closed 0.30% higher. The TAIEX rose 26.66 points to finish at 9,034.87 Tuesday.
