Shares in Taiwan rose more than 1% Monday to close back above the 9,000-point mark as fading expectations of an immediate interest rate hike by the US Federal Reserve led more investors to put money into the market.
Taiwan shares closed up 96.30 points, or 1.07 percent, at 9,080.71 on Monday.
