Taiwan and Vietnam will co-host a seminar in August on species preservation. That’s the word from Huang Chin-cheng from the Council of Agriculture on Friday.
Huang said the seminar will be co-hosted by experts from the Forestry Bureau and the Endemic Species Research Institute, together with counterparts from Vietnam. Huang said Taiwan and Vietnam are both nations with a rich variety of indigenous species and that this seminar will help Taiwan’s experts learn more about how to preserve them.
Huang said he hopes Taiwan can build stronger relations with other Southeast Asian nations through such academic exchanges.
