President Tsai Ing-wen has thanked the staff of the Presidential Office for their hard work at a staff family day event held Friday.
This is the first family day event the Presidential Official has held since Tsai took office in May. Nearly 1,000 people attended the event, including Vice President Chen Chien-jen.
Tsai praised her staff for their dedication and professionalism. She also thanked their family members for giving them their support.
“Thank you very much for allowing the most important person in your family to dedicate him or herself to the Presidential Office during this period. This [dedication] enables the country’s highest office to operate and to offer care to all citizens. Therefore, today I want to say thank you very much," said Tsai.
