Shares in Taiwan ended slightly lower Tuesday. Investors pocketed gains from earlier in the day, pushing the weighted index into negative territory.
The weighted index on the Taiwan Stock Exchange closed down 6.23 points, or 0.07 percent, at 8,940.83.
