A Taiwanese coffee expert has entered the finals of the World Brewers Cup in Italy. That’s the word from the Taiwan Coffee Association on Thursday.
Coffeehouse owner Wei Ju-ying is scheduled to compete with five other contestants from Norway, the Czech Republic, Turkey, Greece and Italy, for the championship.
The World Brewers Cup is being held June 10-12 alongside the World Barista Championship and the World Coffee Roasting Championship.
Berg Wu, another Taiwanese, was eliminated in the semifinals of the World Barista Championship.
