Shares in Taiwan closed little changed Wednesday as Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., the most heavily weighted stock in the local market, lent some support to the broader market after Wall Street fell overnight.
The weighted index on the Taiwan Stock Exchange ended down 4.04 points, or 0.04 percent, at 9,242.16.
