Taiwanese tennis player Chan Hao-ching and her Belarusian doubles partner Max Mirnyi advanced to the mixed doubles finals at Wimbledon on Saturday
The No. 14-seeded duo defeated No. 5 seeds Daniel Nestor of Canada and Kristina Mladenovic of France 7-6 (4), 7-5 in the semifinal match.
Chan and Mirnyi will face off against the No. 15 seeded duo Nenad Zimonjic of Serbia and Samantha Stosur of Australia in the final on Sunday.
The 21-year-old Chan is the only Taiwanese player remaining in competition this year at Wimbledon. This is her third appearance at the world's oldest tennis championships.
Chan wrote on her Facebook page, "I’m very happy to advance to the finals at Wimbledon. I'll be more focused and play better tomorrow, since the game is not finished yet."
