Several Taiwanese films will be featured in the 2014 Asian-American International Film Festival in New York which will run from July 24 to August 2.
The festival explores a diverse range of themes relevant to the Asian and Asian-American experience. This year, 18 features and 33 shorts from 21 countries and regions will be screened at multiple venues across New York City.
Taiwanese films to be featured in the festival include 100 DAYS, a romantic comedy by Emmy Award-winning TV director Henry Chan, The Rice Bomber, the story of a farming activist who constructs bombs made of rice, and A Time in Quchi, a Taiwanese city boy’s coming of age story.
