Shares in Taiwan extended losses Monday from a session earlier as investors kept unloading their electronics stocks after the high-tech sector on Wall Street suffered a downturn at the end of last week.
The TAIEX closed down 19.11 points, or 0.2%, at 9,420.18 Monday on turnover of NT$107.18 billion (US$3.57 billion).
