Shares in Taiwan closed lower on Tuesday, extending losses from a session earlier. The electronics sector continued a down trend, with investors pocketing recent gains.
The weighted index on the Taiwan Stock Exchange closed down 28 (.30) points, or three tenth of one percent (0.3 percent), at 9,392 (9,391.88).
