Machi (麻吉) is a hip hop group formed in 2003. Founding brothers Jeffrey Huang and Stanley Huang were raised in Orange County, California, and started their careers in the boyband L.A. Boyz with their cousin, Steven Lin.
The group's history is rich with rapping in the Taiwanese language, sharing their Taiwanese identity, calling out government corruption, getting sued for libel, and collaborating with one of the United States' most prominent hip hop figures: Missy Elliott.
